Horace Head Base

Made with Bryce

The beatiful picture of the Horsehead Nebula in the constellation of Orion, which I found in the Internet once, was put on a 2D surface and lit by a spot from the behind to have the stars white. The scouts are objects found at http://www.users.bigpond.com/kceg/models.htm, I changed the mat, however. The colour of the sun was changed to give the same tint as the glowing nebula. There are no shadows because the large habitat would throw it on the picture surface -- that's the catch of doing things that way.

Why Bryce6? Why do I want the next generation of Bryce when I even don't know yet what the current version has in stock? I've clicked on that triangle once and looked at it blankly. Next time I click on it, I'll try to be awake. Thanks for that tip!

Shadows You can have shadows - select your backdrop go into the "materials lab", thence to the "material options" (the little pull down in which fuzzy is an option) and untick "recieve shadows". This way you can have all the shadows you want without any concern of them falling on your backdrop and giving the game away!
