Ka'ke'teeoh Island
Again, Im not very fond of any of my Landscapes But I like a good challenge. Please tell me whats wrong with the picture I want to get better at landscapes.

Hahah Yep Me and frozen Cry have been working on My New Island Its much better. Ya i noticed that weird disturbance before hand.
Looks great and it seems like everyone has covered all the advice you will need - except... the two clouds spheres on the RHS of the mountain are intersecting and that is upsetting the volumetic materials creating an ugly tear. When using "fluffy" volumetics be careful not to let the primitives touch (not just the contents) - that's my advice. Talk to my teddy if you don't believe me!
Try using the Caribbean Resort water texture for the water, it looks very natural if applied on water that is far from the camera. As for the mountain texture, it's fine with me, except those clouds around the island need to be made to look more natural, just seems splodged on a bit and looks odd. Also, the image to me seems WAY too sharp for its own good, perhaps blur it down a bit?
Hmm? What do you mean by the repeat on the water. Just wondering?
Water Ya I would lessen the repeat on the water, and or try another material on it.

Try "Nice Water". it seems to work for me. Also, try "Whole Mountain" for this island. Frozencry makes his islands perfect with that.
Will Try that By queer I take it you like the picture...? lol ....Ive Just Now tried to Put a mask on the Water And do a gaussian Blur but the effect is not very Good. Ill will take into consideration On what you said Horo Thankyou!
This is a very queer setup of a landscape. However, I like the idea. The mat for the mountain is from David, I take it. The water fits this strange setup not too badly. If you want it a bit more natural, you might try to change the size of the pattern or the pattern altogether and do with a bit less of bump. Look at the mat exchange for other examples of water and go from there.
Ya Alot of people have told me that, I just donot know How to fix it. Would anyone Care to tell me how to fix that chekerd look to the water?
I like it a lot But i don't like the water... Everything else looks great =)
