The End of the World - Chaos
The very fabric of time and space has torn apart, and earth is nearing its end. Let us welcome chaos. Other than the plasma fire effects and lightning, the sky itself was done by accident, but it was one hell of a cool accident :o) After that, Davids plasma fire was added, and the lightning was a special plugin effect I have on Photoshop 7. Feedback very much appreciated!

John Martin Looking at his work now, I can see that his work is quite apocalyptic, which gives me even more ideas for some more apocalypse type of pics :o)
Accident or not, the sky is is unprecedented, indeed. This is quite an apocalyptic picture.
Superb - I really go for these cataclysmic images, you know John Martin? All you need is a bit more cosmic horror and upheaval - like a giant fissure in the earth into which the sea's are pouring. And well, I for one will be having nightmares. Cool.
