Ruins
The ruin at left at some distance and the crow on a column are from DAZ3D, the sailship was found as a 3ds wireframe on the internet, the rest is Bryce 5.5 (temple, trees, lighthouse). The only postwork is some clone brush under the trees near the ruin. Renders in 2 1/2 days.

Is it a red sky in the morning or a red sky at night?
What I find extraordinary here is the mix of harmony and opposites. It is emotionally very strong. The blood red sky complements the dead of the ruins (and the crow enhances that) and then there is that thrieving flower on the temples steps. Remarkable shoreline contrasted by the sides of the small river flowing into the sea. There are some subtle compositional elements that I cannot point out but leave an odd feeling in me.
