This effect makes it look a bit like as if photographed with a high ASA/DIN rating film emulsion. Interesting, but not too appealing to me. The model is quite nice. The ground looks like green seawater to me. The misty background reminds me of Myst.
thanks Though I never played Fable, I heard good things about it. So I'm really glad you can compare to it. As for Photoshop, I got it as a gift before leaving high school. Its seems a little comfusing at first but i got use to it. I do any other one like later down the road.
Maybe a little excessive there on the diffuse glow, but it is an effect I like, in fact, it is the only reason I ever open photoshop - that and the lens flair options... other than that I prefer PSP7 for it's simplicity. Dispite being burned out, I still believe you could do with something other than a perfectly flat horizon.
