Riven Collection I
More wings modeling. You'll remember the tower from one of my previous works, but this time it is true to the one in Riven with a remodeled base. The trees are also from Riven, again made in wings by me. Rocks made in wings just for space-fillers. Pedestal is from DAZ, lighting a modified version of the system that came with the pedestal. Once I get around to more wings stuff, I'll make more Riven-inspired objects.

Game you will be excited to know that we are working on a 2d side scroller right now actually. Once we're at the content stage, we might ask for people to help design, model, and animate the worlds. Metroid is one of our influences.
It's made a nice render whatever the score with the games, I'm a Metroid fan myself, in particular the age of the 2D sideways scrolling game. I guess I'm a phillestine. Although I was very impressed with HL2 I find it difficult to make time for such leisure activities these days.
I loved MYST and I adored Riven. I copied screenshots like a madman and put them together on a browsable interactive system (html) to go through this amazing world (I lost it due to a self-induced HD crash). I definitely wouldn't have jumped on Bryce if I hadn't seen Riven. A very calm game, no hurry, no shooting, just exploring a beautiful constructed world and, of course, a bit of thinking.
Myst I liked myst 5... 4 was ok.. but the ending i think they were on some kind of crack honestly... 3 was a bit .. well.. weird.. Riven was quite good, I did like riven. Myst was AMAZING ( at the time.. not so good now... ) But I would say riven was the most popular ( 5 cd's big ) Nicely done, it does feel like riven looking at the lighting and the trees
Riven A game in the loosest sence. More like a complete world in the computer. As the "stranger" (an unknown and unseen charecter) you explored these world by clicking. Riven, sequel to Myst- I'm sure you know Cyan's hit "game". Riven was followed by Uru, a realtime-3d game. Cyan also made more Myst games, but they were a market flop, and Cyan was forced to lay off lots of employees. Out of oll of Cyan's Myst games Riven was the best, in my opinion. Rocks- They're not smoothed out of sheer laziness. Trees- Yes, they're trees. I've remodeled the leaves by now, so expect more when I can get my computer together for a long(er) render.
hm... Yes, the models are quite interesting (are those trees of some kind?). Maybe you could smooth the stones a bit more. Although I have no idea what "Riven" means. If Horo or you LitoNico are reading this, be good to put an enlightment here :). Is it a game? Oh, yeah - sure HIT with that light.
Beautiful idea to put this on a plate. Everything is perfect, being a Riven fan myself, I can appreciate the quality of the models. And I like the lighting. Top marks from me, hard to improve this one without spoiling it. Amazing!
