Made with Bryce

Bryce5.5 a couple of pointed thingy models and a couple of noggins crows obtained from DAZ3D.com Still trying to get that "quality of light" that is often lacking from Bryce outdoor scenes. Two teirs of halo lights set to very low brightness fill in what would otherwise be totally black shadows in the foreground. Most of the time spent being trying to pick suitable "natural" colours for the sky.

Thank you! I still don't feel I've quite managed to achieve with this what I set out to do. I did enjoy making the stone materials Richter, thanks! And yes, Horo, I had issues with the water too... You are right in your observations. As mostly ever...

Extraordinary simple and yet complete. Excellent colour choice and the sky colour IS real. How the water meets the land at the first instance at left looks as if the surface tension is very high. It is, however, an illusion.

Good ol' David style. Really good piece. You catched the environmental sence to the Max. And that is (as you said), because of the almost real sky, crows and complexity of the textures used. Looking at the stones I have to admit that you handled the so-obvious cuts which the water sometimes causes "meeting" the terrain. Exceptional texture on the Pointed Thingy (is there a crack on the top of it - nice), so to speak for the second one and its positioning. As I said - good old David style...
