Hmm The radial lines? I really didn't have anything in mind for them to be...I was doing a lot of playing with materials and spheres and light...When they showed up (and I couldnt begin to tell you at what point that was) I liked the way they looked, so I rendered the piece with them in it. Nothing I make tends to be geared toward realism, but I suppose I came pretty close with these bacteria...the color is most likely off, but it pleased me...
Without looking at the title I could tell that this must be a view of a sample through a microscope. What is that fine line pattern in the background supposed to be? It looks nice.
