Without a doubt Tonkin has got style and consistancy - I've stumbled over his works on other gallerys and recognised his touch before seeing his name. There's not many artists I can say that about.

If I use the name "Tonkin" for a comment, would it be enough to explain the impression his work gives? Extremely well chosen textures and use of lights. Well placed buildings. Clever idea for the far Red-Neon sign :)) I just hate to repeat myself but: Top Marks!

The one thing I love about all your pictures is your insane level of detail. Lights are on inhouses, Liscence plate on the taxi, women dancing in the windows. Great work! Incredible.
