Here is the polished iron material applied to a model I made in Wings3D and inported via DAZ|studio. Two light sources one white the other blue, both placed quite close to the model. Rendered in Bryce5.5

This spikey thing somehow looks like some strange sort of a hairy gnome. The feet on the plate, the stooped back, the neck and the head with the insect-like eyes at the sides. I think its actually quite cute. Colour, material used and lighting are excellent - one might say ?David-like?.
Impressive design and material! I wonder how will it respond to a ring of light(s). And just how many needles are there anyway:)
