FORBIDDEN RAINBOW 1, Planet tek ARNASO
There really is a God! This br5 file was not destroyed by my ex-roomy afterall. Here is an up-close of the planet. The nebula is a volumetric cloud textured with a photograph. The planet is earthlike and endowed with a ring system. The atmospheric layers of the planet are a bit too large and the shadows on the dark side of the planet are ruined because of it. But the benefit is that there are nice shadows from the clouds on the daytime side of the planet. I usually render the planet with empty space behind it and not a nebula as in this case. I must shrink the atmospheric layers to better "fit" the planet. By now the Forbidden Rainbow concept should be beginning to make sense, as it is a completely animateable scenario. I hope you all enjoy it.

The earth like planet is nice but looks a bit like plastc. Look at the reflection. Which doesn't mean I could do better. We tend to make the radius of the atmosphere too large in relation to the radius of the planet. It's more dramatic. However, in my experience, the atmosphere refuses to blur what is underneath when looking right on. I have not yet found the right settings to accomplish this. The ring is very good. Nice gaps created by the shepherding moons.
