Space Vortex Unknown
According to me this could be some kind of portal (fast gateway) for traveling between galaxies in our universe. The Vortex itself is (you guessed correct) an Apophysis render put in a squished sphere with Diamond tex added to it. This is the way I rendered it in Bryce. Planets are br5 separate rends added using postwork in pshop. Nice (& safe:)) travels everyone!

you know what it looks like It kinda has a Pink Floyd pulse look to it
Very good example of "mixed-media" between Bryce, Apophysis and postwork. Well done!
Thanks! I see you both catched the feeling it brings.
Another master piece of yours. Excellent composition. Circles and spirals: Eternity. The planet at left is beautiful.
Beautiful It has a very "temporal" feel to it.
