What is this Lioness looking at? Could it be something to eat or something to play with?

A bit larger and more precise perhaps. The point-of-view I find to my liking. Good angle for the shot.

very interesting I'm not sure what to say since I'm not sure if you were going for something realistic or not. Nice over-all composition. The background foliage is well lit and convincing to my eye from this distance. The foreground foliage is not as real looking to me, as the green leaves are a bit over-saturated and low resolution for real foliage at this closeness. It looks like you may have also added an extra light source for the foreground area, as the shadows on the lioness from the fern makes me think there's another light source other than the sun above. On the savannah, where would an extra light source come from? I could be wrong about the existence extra light source though. The lioness has nice intensity in the eyes, but the eyes look human and not very cat-like in the pupils. The lioness fur shows no signs of actual strands of fur, which would be nice if realism is the goal. The composition choices you made are very effective and this piece is detailed and I like that. I wish it was rendered a bit larger.
