TREE LAB leaf template 1

I wil start by saying thank you to LitoNico for being the first to test out these mats. Give your Bryce foliage a sense of real "life." A basic leaf material tuned to recreate the translucent glow of real leaves when they are lit. This is a preset that mimics the water constitution of living plants. There is no need for ambient expression ever with this preset. There is not yet a tutorial to go along with this submission. I can only suggest that as you test out these materials at home, that you reference your tests with real observations of real foliage. Many hours of testing have gone into this effect as I've tried to be as consistent with nature as possible. Please take the time to observed real plants, as we can see things every day and not ever truly observe them. Observe specifically the bumpiness, shinyness, and translucent qualities of real foliage. Observe mutiple types of plants if possible. Take notice of the color of the shadows at different distances away from a leaf. Play around with the general effect and it's other uses like skin, ice, fabric, ghosts, fish fins, and a million other things that require subsurface scattering. Enjoy
