Cryochamber
Well, haven't posted here in a while, but here it is... I call it a "Cryochamber" and its suppose to be a one-man containment tube. The 'cryochamber' itself was modelled in Wings 3d and then brought into Bryce 5 where I used Beanzvision's Half-Dome lighting system and rendered at "Super Fine Art" setting. The render time was sometime around a little more than 24 hrs. C&C are welcomed Enjoy!

environmental choices The model and everything about it seems right and believeable to me. Richter is absolutely correct in my view regarding the lighting. When reflective materials like this are used, the environment has a direct effect on the model. Place this baby in an actual environment, and it will kick butt. Also, if you were to soften the shadows somehow, it would also bring up the level of realism.
Good modeling job. It looks like you spent some time working on it. There are a lot of things that can be seen outside and through the green tube. I find the lighting to be a little too strong though. The back part of the chamber is almost completely lost in brightness. The chrome texture fits very well on the model but in some places (when seen through the tube for exmpl) it has this strange look of reflective plastic. This is not necessarily a bad thing. I don't know if your goal was realism. Concerning the tube, was the TIR on? The cryochamber could still use an improvement, but as a whole it is a result of creative thinking. Good!
