This is my second project on bryce5. it took about 15 hours. I hope the next project is better.

Very nice Your SECOND project? It took me more than a month to learn to use the program! and Tens of trys before I even had anything I considered saving! Well Done, youll go far!
My second attempt on Bryce was nowhere near to this. Great start!
so far so good. Beautiful. I love bright colors generally so this is right up my alley. You seem to get the hang of 3d. Maybe you have experience with other programs? I ask because the scene is set up very nicely, almost like someone with 3d experience. The water is very cool. As Alex mentioned your materials need some consideration, but they are appropriate for this scene whether you realized it or not. At least you're experimenting with the materials lab, tree lab, terrian labs, and other powers of the program. You've even attemped a waterfall, which is not at all easy for even the most advanced brycers. KEEP IT UP FOR SURE!
My one suggestion is to start looking for textures. I felt the basic ones that you get with Bryce are good to toy with just to give you an idea of how the program works, but once you get a good feel for it you'll want someting more. I have tons that I have searched for and keep on a backup disk, along with the presets that I don't want to loose. Good work so far, and good luck. And remember have fun. :)
