David's Play Area
HDR moon-bluegrey.hdr (horo) Quality 0 Intensity 45 HDRI Effect 100 With one additional light source. Models made in Wings3D. Render time 24minues and 3seconds. Funny, I've tried photographing other carpets at home but none have worked so well as the poor old scruffy kitchen carpet. Sorry to subject you to it again, but it really is the best background I've found so far for IBL still life. If you feel like giving it a whorl yourselves you will find it in the materials x-change.

remarkable! I am 5 or 6, and let me tell you... I can 'feel' the textures in this image as I look at it... well done, David... uh oh.. got to go... my mom is calling
Pitty I'm not 5 or 6 years younger. I would love to play here! This is as realistic as it can get. 5/5 and that's for sure.
Culmination! Look at all these toys! You sure seem to have a lot of fun playing there, and playing with Bryce too. From this point of view the reflected hdr on the red spheres looks like they have somekind of stains on them, an early stage of oxidating maybe. Very interesting effect though, if stronger - it could pass for a bump. Because of the very successful carpet texture, the shadows from the secondary light somehow "sink" into the carpet. Steel 5/5 for you and another 5 for Horo's "moon-bluegrey.hdr". Great work both of you.
awesome Very realistic. Very plausible. Great bryce work. 5/5
