Simple IBL scene 2
As before, but with added ice cakes and ice cromlechs - as requested by Gat. An easy task as Rashad observed, but this did take over 25 hours to render with just this one small addition. That is 17 times the origional render time thanks t the materail used on the ice having a slight transparent component. Also, the sky... although it suits this subject, I am still envious of the 3D skies that terragen produces seemingly so easily.

I'm looking at this picture at least for the fifth time and I still can't come to terms with it. Looking at the cliffs alone - form, colour, position: very nice. But what is behind them? Is this ?Ice Stonehenge?? The left part of the picture is nice, the right part of it is nice, too. I just don't see how these two can be part of the same picture. Of course, I'm all wrong, it's an unfinished work.
neat! The texture on the ice looks good, like a sort of dirty old ice. Wow, 17 times longer to render. I am glad I asked you to do it instead of doing something like that myself :D lol Thanks for rendering!
