Aiko from DAZ, some clothes, weapons, a skeleton from some website. The rock was sculpted in blender and exported into bryce, I used david's faded mirror with bump texture. Two secondary lights were used, one to light the rock from the bottom and another to light her face. I spent most of the time making that sand texture and to give it more of a sandy look I used volumetric cloud material, that had a sort of noisy look and rendered in a considerable amount of time. I also used an incorrect FOV purposely for the camera. enjoy

. Thank you all for comments and suggestions, the only thing I am not sure is the reflection on the sand, I have no idea what you guys are talking about o_O.
Appart from echoing what has already been stated, I would suggest experimenting with the camera position, there is perhaps a slightly more cinematic option to be extracted from this set up which places greater emphasis on the figure? Just a thought...
I'm mostly impressed by how the rock appears - the underside as looked through some sand dust. Very effective. Other than Rashad, I like those fine reflections on the sand, it understrikes the fantasy of the scene. The sand waves are exceptional. This is a nice mix of real and fantasy - not only the subject matter, the lighting and materials used, too. 5/5 because everything seems to fit.
This is really cool, gat! I especially like that sand skeleton demon thing. It reminds me of the Mummy movies only better. And Aiko looks like she would be great as a Manga video character. I have to give this one 5/5 too!
This image is very much on it's way Gat. I love everything you've done so far. I feels like a movie. Your lighting choices are spectacular. I agree 100% with their levels. I almost thought the image was hdr, but knowing you did this with only one primary and two secondary lights makes me smile as winde as the Pacific. Great lighting!! I would experiment now with giving the primary light a reddish hue and the secondaries a bluish hue, it will likely work well. The reflection on the sand is somehow forgivable. I'm not sure why. If it was possible to reduce that effect it would be nice but as is I find it to still be effective. Those bryce clouds look really good. Wise viewing angles make or break bryce skies. I love her physical expression. The skeleton formed from sand. Really great. I'm going to give you a five anyway. You've earned it.
