i used a reflective ground in theis one and kins of made the colors blend i used a custome preset for the ground and ourside part of the spears. p.s i am making a updates pic of the balls and gears working so stay tuned

The only weak point here are the spheres that do not touch. Otherwise it is a nice piece of work. IBL would certainly be an option here but the way it is lit it is spot on already.
A like the gradient appearance to the background. I agree with everything else everyone said... Good job
. Very good work, I like the illumination but if you did it intentionally or the spheres did not remain flying, seem to you as if they were not touched among them, even so I likes much your design.
Appart from the impression I get that the spheres are not quite comming into contact with one another, very nice. I like this arrangement and colour choice. I think this would work really well under IBL.
