Somehow it reminds me of parchment. Could be some kind of illumination for an ancient text. Or a puzzel in Tomb Raider?

Not much to add to what hass been said already. It appears as if there were mirrors at work. I do like the lighting.
As usual I agree with gat, in that the textures and lighting are very good. How did you light this scene?
. Its a nice looking image with great texture, easy to look at and would be a great background for a computer.
