Ersatz Vorlon Design: Under Construction ;-)
I have a Babylon 5 obsession. LOL This is the early stage of a free form Vorlon style ship which was supposed to be a redition of Embassador Kosh's transport but I designed it only from memory and it's pretty far off from the original design. I've decided to just run with it and come up with a completely new Vorlon ship. ;-) This is a design concept at this point and will be adjusted further as I complete the design. All comments welcome.

- I've changed the title and description of this post to sort of salvage the project. To try and do a copy of Kosh's transport would mean essentially scrapping this design and starting over from scatch. Instead I'm just going to work with this base design and fashion it into a unique new ship. I think it will be more fun this way because it will give my imagination something to play with. ;-)
- The form as such looks good. Thanks for the primer on Babylon 5 spektyr. I sort of gathered something of that kind. What I need to be able to appreciate your work is the pictures, not the story. No problem, though.
- Rashad: The name of that series was Farscape. I believe the ship's name was Moya. I like her offspring, Talon. ;-)
- Actually, after checking, I'm more than a tad off. LOL I did admit that my memory isn't perfect. ;-) Still, it was a learning experience to be sure. I may be off target but I'm getting better with the modeling tools and that's the important thing. ;-)
hmm The idea of life forms evolving such that they can survive and even thrive in outer space is most interesting. There is another show with a living ship named "moyier" or something like that. I forget the name of the show, but the idea is very interesting. The models used for these works are a cool combo of machine overlayed with biology. Keep it going and let's see where it goes!
- It's still under construction and the material is very close to what was used in the series. This is a living ship and the paterns in the skin change slowly over time. The pilot, a being of light and energy, inhabits the ship like a soul in a body. Parts of the ship still have to be added, an engine that fits in the rear and four petals with a glitering blue inner surface that fold out when in flight. I assume they are hydrogen collectors. This model is only the main body of the vessel and probably needs further modification. Like I said, I've modeled this from memory alone so far and my memory is far from perfect. ;-)
. I don't how it should actually look, but I really don't like the material and I think more detail would be really nice and a big plus. otherwise it looks too simple to be a spaceship.
