A conversation around the artwork

As a setup I like it. Most of what I would recommend has been said. It's nice to see that much grass in background. The picture looks complete there. What in my opinion needs attention are the shadows. Either make them softer or you can very successfully use DOF to raise this feeling of macro-world. Don't get me wrong, your scaling issues are perfect. I'm talkin' about increasing the overall impression further. Oh, yes, the mushroom on the right seems to have a hard time touching the ground. Vmax, if you're up to an update-vers. I'll be glad to see it here. Good job nontheless!

This image is amazing. I agree with all of the model choices, set-up, all is good. The lighting is also working well. I see no nasty ambient channel flattening the world. I would suggest improving the lighting further by never using pure white lightsources and analyzing light in nature to find it's biases and apply those biases in bryce. Sunlight should be warm colored from yellow to reddish grey hues. Skies come in blue/green, and so forth. Colored lights are indeed very natural. Go easy on the haze too, it obscures objects and falsy indicates model scales. Love this work, it is in many ways quite perfect!

Very nice setup, very nice idea. The pose of the meditating person is perfect. My main qualms are that the skin looks like plastic. But than, to get the skin right is very difficult. Good job.

* I like your theme. your scaling seams to be right on. I'm not too sure about the light on the mans head though. It almost makes his head transparent. Talk about being down to earth. Good job!
