I have tried to make a realistic tornado , but never touched on the "keeper" It is worth a try again...

funnel problems yes
It's the render time that's the killer in this case, these volume clouds are tricky because the solid they are rendered within is so much larger than what is visible and you end up with the invisible bits cutting into other bits which you can see. :o( but you don't recognise this without rendering it all. :o. So in the end I abandoned volumetric effect for the funnel to avoid this and settled for a compromise between effects. :o, And some cunning lighting.

The funnel i'm guessing would be a killer to create, since i've tried to create tornadoes myself. The funnel is a tad bit fake, but the rest is awesome. Good Job and good effort on the tornado!
