Okay... last time. I think I got a bit closer on the hair this time. Shadow on the table achieved by using two bulb lights with much soft shadow, then darkening in post.

I will add that the skylight effect might be well placed here, since in the real photograph there is a clear blueish-ness apparent from the sky. I think that adding the blue skylight would bring this even closer to the photo.

. Yeah it looks much better, through the resolution of the table material is very low. Also, are you sure sure sure that you are using hdri lighting? Did you click on Sky Light, then maybe you could increase the brightness some? Sorry, it just needs morel light.

Well, mine looks more like the Carrara one than the photo. Only quibble I have is that the base where the hair emerges is a bit on the wide side. Mine is even more mushroom-like than the photo. Nevertheless, excellent example. Lighting is very near to the "original". Great job in that department as well.
