Sun going Nova

Thank you for the positive comments and the advice. I did not notice that there are two suns in the picture, thats why you can see so much detail. Thanks again.

I would suggest some postwork to boost this image, of which there is little seriously wrong with, to the same level of excitement promisted by the title. Minor things I would point out is that if the sun were very bright and I were looking into it I would not expect to be able to see any detail on this side of the earth - which would afterall be in deep shadow. Also the ship, which is a very pleasing design, would for the same reason, be difficult to make out. The nebula is good, but I don't think that would be providing any light to fill in these shadow regions. So... to conclude... dramatic special effects and harsher contrast between light and dark.

Nice work! The nebula is really good. The sun is fine, but presenting the sun at it's moment just before blowing up is not easy. The sun is too bright to be viewed directly, even more so when it is ready to pop. There should be no visible hard edges around the sun as a viewer's eye could never actually focus itself onto a cosmic phenomenon like this.
