I know it's been a while since I've posted but I haven't been feeling so well. It's been a combination od things and I'd rather not elaborate. I'll just say I practically had to force myself to get back to work here. Anyway, here's a new one I whipped up (pun intended). ;-) I set the RPP to 64 it's hard to tell if the fine details in the center are ok. Let me know if it looks ok to you.

Thanks David! Ah! We used to call them Pinwheels. Yes, the center does remind me of a psychedelic pinwheel. :-)

Beautiful piece, very high render quality. No signs of any polygones or AA issues. Reminds me somewhat of a windmill in the middle, the sort that you can get at the seaside here in the UK, possibly at any seaside resort around the world - I wouln't know. But yes, full marks.

Thanks Horo! Actually, I just got so frustrated with my lethargy that I had to do something even if it didn't come out to my liking. I surprized myself. LOL That center blossom came out really 'nervous' but that's ok because it got me back into experimentation mode and now I seem to be back on track. :-)

Great, very high contrast, the centre "blossom" came out excellent. Appears that it was well worth forcing yourself back ...
