Craters
I made the craters using the terrain editor. When u click on a mountain-like shape there will be an 'E' there. Click the 'E' to get to the editor. Once in the editor make the center of the mountain a very low elevation (make it a dark color). When you have completed that step then lower the y axis and place the crater with the same texture as the infinite plain on the ground. Thats it, hope it helps.
