I see your point spektry. It may be that the mesh has been smoothed out too much causing distortion of the mesh.
Wow! Nice wax job on that floor! LOL That shadow on the bottom of the wall next to the left door looks out of place, especially the way it ends in a straight vericle line. Otherwise the scene looks flawless.

Yeah, you are in complete control of your powers. Your skills are evident already in this wip. This could well turn out to be a trully amazingly realistic image. As an interior man myself, I really like what you have going on here! Brilliant! 5/5 already, so please complete the scene as Horo suggests!
This one looks very nice. Door and windows are Bryce presets (the desk, too). You might have to render it with more rays per pixel to make the door crack disappear. The floor is fantastic, freshly waxes - very nice wood. The outside looks interesting. You could start to put more furniture into this room.
