Thanks Horo! I've been busy rerendering selected inages at max res. It's taking forever. I really need some faster systems. SHEESH!

At last! I'm back on with some acceptable speed. Changed from ADSL to VDSL with a modest speed increase from 5 to 16 Mbps. As Rashad noted, it's busier; I see it darker but I do prefer this one over the first because of the reflections that look like specularity. Nice job, man!

Horo- OUCH!!! Dial up? I feel for you. Don't feel too bad though. This cellular broadband connection I'm on is sometimes as bad as a dial up. I'm not going to be at this address for more than three years so I thought getting a fiber wouldn't be worth it. I went for cellular instead. What a mistake that was. SHEESH! I think I'll get the fiber anyway and eat the early termination fee for the cellular. 85 meg .tif uploads to Ballistic Publishing take forever.

Sorry spektyr - I've got to look at that one later. I have no proper Inbernet connection right now, just a 56 K modem - at horrendous costs. My 6.4 MB ADSL flat rate connection was cut on Friday morning. Should get back up on Monday (hopefully). Isn't a fast Intenet access a human right?

Thanks Rashad! My techniques have evolved since the first version. This one has a better 3D effect and the specularity really enhances that. It actually placed #1 in the Top 10 for one day comments on 3D Renders at ARTwanted.com. It's climbed from #51 to #2 on my Stats chart in less than 24 hours with a total of 187 hits, faster than any other image I've posted there. It's obviously quite popular. ;-)

The two versions are very different. I like them both. In this case I feel that the image may be a bit busier than in the first version. I can see the connection between the two images clearly.
