Here's a neat one. It's the third in a series and I'm posting it because it's the best one and nicely 3D. :-) All comments welcome. BTW, Does anyone know why DAZ posted only 22 images in the January Bryce Gallery. I know some of the stuff I sent them should have made it considering they're better than that monochrome 'Lunar Ice' image that got posted. What gives?

Thanks Guys! I have noticed that they lean strongly towards 'character' art. Maybe in the future I'll start playing with characters. Being the nonconformist that I am I expect I'll tend more towards vertex modeled originals than preset models. I guess time will tell. ;-)

Nice work Spektyr. As far as the Daz galleries go, it seems to me that they clearly prefer images that feature items that they sell on the website. The more "content" you use, the better the chances, especially if you use the content well. I have seen your abstract images in the galleries before, so if they did not feature you in January I would not sweat it too much. They seem to be trying to give chances to alot of people, so maybe they are rotating the abstract image submissions. I like Horo, could not get a scene into the galleries but over the past year or so I have been featured about 4 or 5 times. I have been shocked at the scenes they have not chosen to feature. So it's anybody's guess as to what they are looking for.

Bizzare - like an abstract of solar flares. Very interesting effects. As for DAZ - it is completely random what they select IMHO. For over 2 years, nothing got on the gallery, then they started taking some of which I submitted, somtimes the better, sometimes the lesser. And then, there is not the same quantity each month and sometimes they appear on the 5th and somtimes near the end of month. It's weird.
