Facade

Made with Bryce

The model is ?Urban SciFi? by DAZ3D. I didn't do a lot, placing two radials into a room. The model is not easy to light - you either loose the 3-dimensionality or you get many dark places. IBL helps a lot. Lit by the ?Sixties? HDRI I made for David some time ago. Rendered with Q=256, Intensity and Effect at 16 at the default orientation. The HDRI gives the facade a nice colour. I might use this model for something a bit more elaborate.

IBL is tricky sometimes. I had a lot of headache while working on several images. One really has to know what he's doing and what kind of mood he's creating by using the coresponding lighting rig, be it IBL or numerous radials. You obviously can handle ibl well enough. I'm joining Rashad's opinion - every detail looks excellently lit.

Looks awesome! The blue tint is a little much for me but the light itself seems very good. I kind of wish we had a bit more of a clue about the direct sunlight, as in seeing a few more surfaces struck by it or maybe the inclusion of a little bit of sky at the top. It looks like the sun is directly above. It has a nice brightness! The daz model is very cool. I wonder how much of the detail is actually modeled and how much of it is drawn onto the textures. I think you have done an excellent job of making every detail really look 3 dimensional.

I think it looks great. I have just started working with the HDRI and it is still a mystery to me . So can appreciate the time an effort that was put into making this look so detailed.
