Glass Flower 4
I'm really growing to like this latest technique I've been playing with. I came up with this one while I was playing with this new animation based on GF1. I would have had it ready for today but I seem to be having a lot of problems runing Bryce and Lightning at the same time on My main workstation "Andromeda". I've started using my dual P3 700 server "Altair" as my new network render server and it seems to be running a lot better. I restarted the animation render and I'm hoping to have it ready to post by Friday afternoon. All comments welcome. Animation Update: It rendered a lot faster than I thought! :-) I rendered it as an uncompressed AVI and it's BIG! It's about 675 Meg!!! If you have a fast connection I'll put it on my web server (which should take quite a while to do with this SLOW VERIZON WIRELESS P.O.S. CONNECTION! AAARRRRGGGG!) so you can see it without compression artifacts and believe me it will be worth the wait for the download! This one is really going to knock your sock off!!!!! I'll compress it to a more managable size and post that one first! I have an appointment today so I'll do all that this evening. Sorry for the delay but, as I said before, this one will be well worth the wait! ;-)

oh yes, I like it, definitely! The only thing I can suggest is to make those shapes more smoother, one more iteration? I can still see a lil' angularity here and there. ...Your anim's ready, I'm going to check it out
Thanks Guys!!! Horo, For me shades of cerulean are very tranquilizing. It does radiate a coolness and I like it because I'm a cool weather person. ;-) The animation is not posted yet. I was trying to do it earlier but this wacko connection I have kept crashing and my web host's server doesn't seem to support pause/resume uploads. :-( I'm hoping that it's just net congestion and an overnite upload will work. Meanwhile, I'm going to compress it with a low loss codec and upload the smaller file. You're welcome for the link. Don't worry about not having a link back to me yet. You can do it at your convenience when you wish. I'm not pushy. ;-)
This is another very nice "flower" you've made here, spektyr. It gives me a very calm feeling. It is a bit cool because of the colour and I have more warm feeling for the previous one, but this is also a very clean 5/5 render. I've visited your website in the hope to get the animation but it's not there yet (or I'm looking at the wrong place). Thank you for your link to my modest website. I still have to create a subtopic of my artist friends and known artists.
