Alien Shrine
The human-like figure is Aiko 3 Base from DAZ3D. There are a few primitive objects and mirrors that make up the temple. Lit exclusively by the ?Inferno? HDRI I made from one of David's artwork (the same I used for The Sign) but only the 400 pixel diameter version. 1024 lights (quality) were used with intensity 2.5 and no HDRI-effect. It was tilted to Y=0 degrees. Rendered premium with 16 rays, otherwise, the mirror edges became visible. In Photoshop, I used automatic colour adjustment to bring out the magic Octarine.

Horo, I have looked at this several times as you did mention this to me in the forum. This is very different from most of the work I have seen by you on this site. I like the blending of the scene but would have liked more clarity or a little crisper but that is just me and I am sure you were trying to create this effect. I was wondering what is on the floor behind Aiko in the left hand corner of the scene?
Thanks, guys. Yes, there is transparency involved. It was necessary with the mirror setup I used. Perhaps I used to much ray depth with 11. In fact, I adjusted light intensity with max ray depth. I understand your reservation about the primitives not being in harmony with the figure and the tree. However, I see in the primitive forms part of the architecture of the building. But this is all imagination, you may see different things. After all, it's sort of an abstract.
An interesting mixture of things going on in this image, overall it could be a kelidoscopic abstract, in detail there are individual distinct objects and given the title and a charater a kind of narative. An illusion (or reality) of transparency, lots of reflection and duplication, it seems all to fit together very well, both visually and conceptually. My main critism would be that the primitives basic geometry is not harmonious with the complex iregularity of the human form and the tree.
The reflections almost feel like transparencies. Amazing colors and light. Wow!
