Neon Spirograph
This one was inspired by a cousin I haven't seen in many years who contacted me on Facebook. He said my work reminded him of the old Spirograph drawing kits I loved so much as a child, only I doubt very much they could have created something like this. ;-) All comments are welcome and appreciated.

Thanks Horo! ;-)
Yes, you did very nice mountain landscapes. Now this one appears as being lit by neon lights. Very nice. I think your choice to have the camera a bit away from the centre in order to give the frame a dark, dull appearance was a wise one. I just framed that part out by resizing the browser window and the picture looses a lot of the charm it has now.
Thanks, Render Man! I could have moved the camera in more but I feel the outer area adds a more pronounced 3D feel to it. Plus I like the way it frames the brighter inner area. ;-) I appreciate your honesty. As the saying goes, "To each his own." I didn't start out doing these abstracts but when I started doing them I found myself falling into a nitch. I feel very comfortable with this style and enjoy the process of experimenting to create new images. I do reject a lot of experiments when I feel I'm not getting what I want from them though. It keeps me trying new things. I'm sure I'll work with other types of imagery as I go. It's been a while since I did any serious modeling. ;-)
This goes from bright to dull in color if you start from the inside and visa a versa if you start on the outside. I like the color on the inside but not to sure what to think of the outer perimeter. I think I would have likes something brighter but what do I know I am not a abstract artist. Just glad you feel up to doing some more art work.
