Denebian Flame Gem

Made with Bryce

Here's one that uses a mesh form mirror box I generated with XenoDream. It is not perfect in form and that added just the right amount of asymmetry, giving this image a unique charm. All comments are welcome and appreciated.

Thanks, Guys! I like the way the center of the 'gem' has a feeling of intense heat that could be producing the firey glare coming off of it.

Could be the 'bling' of a ring. Nice work here and good colour choice. Very nice and not overloaded.

I was thinking the same as Connor as far as it looking like a gem highlighted with bright lights. Another great abstract.

Looks incredible Spektyr, like a real object. I would be glad to own such a jewel. Amazing!

Thanks, Connor! I tried a new trick with XenoDream, a freeware 3D fractal generator that can export meshes in .obj format. As for the name, it may be from Star Trek. The name popped into my mind when I saw the results of this setup but I can't really remember where I heard it before.

First, I really like this picture.I have absolutely no idea how you made it but it is awesome. Second is the Denebian Flame Gem from Star Trek? Nice picture.
