Loopy Submerged

Made with Bryce

Spektyr was so kind to offer his source file for Loopy and I could not resist to play around with it. I did just two changes: (a) I added a transparent sphere with a refraction index of 0.5 in the centre and (b) changed the mirror material of the surrounding sphere with David's Fade Mirror material (available here http://www.bryce5.com/details.php?image_id=2316) and hit the render button. This is still Spektyr's artwork and I therefore have my name not on it. Hey Bill, I did this for your inspiration.

Yes, keep playing with abstracts, the more people sharing ideas and thoughts about this genre, the better the end results will possibly get.

Well I never would have suspected that Horo was going to play with this abstract. Very nice idea and I like the effect. I downloaded this file yesterday but still need to take some time to look it over. Thanks Spcktyr

Thanks so much spektyr. I was sure you won't get angry at me for corrupting your beautiful original artwork and take it as I ment it. Apart from the fade-out at the edges, it got also clearer. It is almost - but not quite - possible to follow a loop completely.

Thanks Horo!! I knew you would be the first to play with it. :-) I likw what you did here. The fade mirror frames the image nicely I'm going to have to download that mat and play with it. Thanks to David for supplying it!! :-)
