Empress of the World Version 2

Made with Bryce

Similar to the last empress of the world. This time background was added in with Poser and it does look better. I think I changed the lighting but not 100% sure. Added in the staff which was free so I like it. Changed her pose so she is grabbing it. Comments welcome (duh).

Her eyes are the most real and even somehow defying thing within the picture. I've seen the planet before, as I've seen the stars. The planet worked well at higher distance, now it seems slightly blurred due to a low resolution perhaps. As a whole I like the image. There is just some shadow issue with the clothing - the straps don't seem to cast shadows over her body, even a little bit of shadow, which makes me think that either the cloth is part of the texure or it has the shadow-cast in the material editor disabled. No other qualms, Connor.

Now the blending is flawless. Excellent job. I don't think I would feel at ease with that lady. As I said on the previous version, ambiguous. Very impressive and complete picture.

I like the skin texture on this model this is improved over you last scene. That backdrop is out of this world ha. Very nice set up. I am going to have to try a close up on a human figure one of these days.

:-) Thanks. I have been playing around with lighting and the different colours. The only annoying thing is if i change the camera angle to the other side she looks really odd. Archclan I got the staff from this website. Stuff was made for poser. http://www.aerysoul.com/free.html

Overall Connor this image is very accomplished. The backdrop is stunning, so very deep and vast it feels of deep space. The woman is stiking. The texturing is especially well done, on the costume and the staff. Her pose is quite suggestive yet off putting, quite a bit going on behind those eyes. This is a very succesful image. Right now the two worlds are completly separate, the outer space of re and the inner space of greenish/ blue. I like this very much. As an experiment I wonder how the scene might look if the indoor lighting was just a tad warmer in color hue. We would lose a bit of color contrast with the outer space but we would gain a more healthy look to the skin itself. I cannot say if one way is better than the other. Still, I see no reason not to rate this image a 5/5. Your goals were simple and you met them extremely well.
