Very creative I would have not thought of using a terrain for fire. I also like the colors in this scene. Were did you get the plane model?
Agreed, looks very dramatic. Using a terrain for fire is often a good idea. Here, I'm not convinced because the edges ought to be blurred. When looking at the lower part of the fire, I see the silhouette of a mountain range and above the red light of a dramatic sunset. The upper part of the fire with the smoke is excellent and blends nicely in the sky. Apart from my reservations, this is a very nice picture and the colour choices excellent.
Great use of terrains to accomlish very challenging geometric interactions like smoke and the like, The color scheme is very nice, the blue and gold are perfect compliments. Sorry to see the plane go down but boy does it look good.
