Morty's "Best" Friend
The next episode of Morty's Adventures... They say that man's best friend is the dog. Morty believed in that too, until one day he forgot to feed his dog. When at late afternoon Morty came by its doghouse armed with sausages, the starving dog jumped out armed with its own sharp teeth and the "cheery" mood of a furious wolf. And as if this wasn't enough, Morty happened to be chased in a red corn field full of these nice lil' mushrooms. So why "red corn field" you're askin'?! Nevermind that, enjoy the show! ;) This time - more on the 3D side then the 2D. With more complex textures here and there while still keeping the spec. technique in use, the effect is more evident as "toon 3d". Morty and the dog were slightly contour enchanced in photoshop since I do want them noticable C(ontour) E(nchanced) L(ines)-shaded. Motion blur from PS too. The primary img was rendered in Bryce at 1600x resolution with 256r/pixel.

Interesting 3D comic look here. The DOF give it a nice sense of depth. I'm not sure I want to know what those 'Explosive Mushrooms' are all about though. Sounds like a digestive problem to me. ;-)

I love that Morty chap of yours a lot. He's bringing himself into a lot of trouble. What can he do? Run away from his starving best friend just to risk being blown up by a mushroom. Cute story, excellently followed through. A 5/5? Yes, sure.
Wow. It is awesome. Both of the Morty pictures are cool. I especially like the nuclear bomb going off in the background. Nice touch. The corn field also looks really good. haha just noticed the sign "Warning Explosive Mushrooms" I love it. Camera location good too. 5/5
