Argus Fleet

Made with Bryce

The Argus flying with the Daedalus. Models by me. I was having troubles deciding if I should put this in space or unrelated programs. It started out to be just in Bryce but then I got carried away in Photoshop. I changed the star-field, planet, nebula.

Very good models, you're still improving! I'll just add that I miss some bump on the ship's texture. You've mapped well the texture this time. Btw its'a very good looking one, I think I have it one on my hdd somewhere. I used it in my "ReCharge" image.

Ya... Lighting. Not my strong-point. I have troubles going from Bryce 3D lighting to Photoshop lighting. I realized the lighting was a bit off but I do like how all of the models are lit up so you can see them. Takin the good for the bad. Glad you guys like it. Going to try some engine glow stuff and fix the lighting. Maybe add some fighters.

Very nice nebula, planet, stars, and ships. As Horo pointed out, if realism is the goal you will need to think more technically about the lighting. If not, then it is all good.

As I mentioned before, the models are very good. The sky backdrop is excellent. This belongs definitely under the Space topic. We do have, however, a bit of a lighting problem. This is a very bright sun we see so I doubt another very bright sun is so near to it. The light on the spaceships appear to originate from several positions and this is hardly possible. This remark holds only true, if you went for some realism. If this "only" to present your models against an interesting backdrop, there is nothing wrong.

It is realy good image! But I think ships should have trases of working engines (as in coomon space pictures there is "fire" behind ship which moves quckly). Anyway it is the matter of taste, and this is realy good work!
