Destroyer Firing
Rendered in Bryce. There are nine lights for each model lighting them. The lasers are cylinders with a fire texture.

I see you are still playing around with your thrusters this looks very nice and was a good idea to try cylinders . Nice space scene I will need to post a space scene I did in Vue as I found out you can use space brushes in Photo Shop to create some fantastic backdrops which can be done in Bryce.
` cool models!!!
One more nice picture of you, Connor! I realy like your complex models!!!
Thank you. I think modeling in Maya is not too hard. I was able to teach myself enough to make what I am making now.
These are nice ships! Is it hard to model in Maya? Nice planet too.
I didn't even notice the laser had little steps in it. I will try rerendering it but first I am going to change the stars. I am not too happy about them right now.
Ah - the new models in action. Very good. Good idea of lazer lights. You might have to render this with 64 or more rays per pixel to avoid the one-pixel zic-zac that can be observed on the nearest lazers. Fine lines are always a bit of a problem - though it isn't offending here, just a suggestion. The Bryce stars were used for the backdrop, the Pleiades are just left of the planet - which appears to have the coloured Venus RADAR map applied to it. Good work!
