This is the 'scout ship' that I uploaded a while ago just with bigger engines. The racing version. The person in the cockpit was posed in Poser and textured in Maya. Background is from Photoshop and put onto a sphere going around the ships. Ships modeled and textured in Maya. I textured them using the hypershade

That looks a bit like Hollywood dude! You are very talented and the speed of your progress is astounding. Smart guy you are! The scene looks great, I especially like the glow effect!
Looks great. The addition of a pilot makes a huge difference. We get also a sense of size.
