Little Fleet
Before I talk about this image I wanted to thank everyone that has ever commented/ helped me since I joined bryce5.com in 2007. Without this site and the support it provides I probably would not have gone anywhere with computer graphics. I also just got accepted into San Francisco Academy of Art for Animation and Visual Effects. So I thank all of you even more than I can express in this text box. I am also going to apply for a summer scholarship and need to but together a portfolio and was wondering if anyone had a recommendation on which pictures I should put into it (8-10 pictures). Again, Thank you to all of you. This was done all in Maya. I had a Bryce version of it that looked good but it was lost on the school computers, so I remade it at home in Maya. There is the Destroyer that I've uploaded before and a new ship, I think I want it to be a small carrier type ship. It is kinda hard to see in this picture, little bit dark. Also I am working on a new background because I am getting tired of this one. I want to make something a bit brighter.

Congrats are so very in order! Wow and Congrats! Very good to have a direction to go in as we approach adulthood someday. I agree with the choices Horo listed for the portfolio. The portfolio should example your very best works, choosing one over the other cna be difficult. You will make the right decisions. This current scene as you know is lacking illumination, otherwise, it functions just as it should. These models are quite amazing!

Congratulation! You've been doing excellent jobs here so I see a promising future for you. I am with spetyr in this. Though the models are excellent as per usual and the backdrop nice, this picture is a bit on the dark side and doesn't have the impact it could have. For your portfolio, I see - Empress of the World Version 2 - Daedalus Fleet - The Room V 4 - Destruction - The Black Hole - Tron World - Mountains - Entering Hypespace - The Sun - Abstract This selection shows many of your talents.
Correction, that should be 'Earth Force Destroyers'.
Congratulations on your acceptance into the SFAA! I can imagine your work being included in HALO 4. ;-) I always like your ship designs. Those destroyer sort of remind me of Earth Force Heavy Cruisers. This scene 'is' too dark on my display and much of the detail is lost so I wouldn't put this in your portfolio. My only suggestion to you is to study what you've done and choose the images that look best to you. "Trust your feelings. The Force is with you." ;-)
At firs I want to congratulate You with your achievement! And want to wish you good luck!!! And as for portfolio, I don't know, but I like Your Dedalus Fleet most of all.
