This does tell a grim story and in a certain sense all of the choices you have made are effective. The lightning effect is particularly appealing. Surely, this seems like a place of suffering and destruction. Very good!

The background looks quite nice and this lightning posteffect also. I just wonder if the "building" in front is made of metal, if so - you'll need more specularity on this material. More or less an apocapyptic impression here.

Unsettling kind of picture but well done. The arcs are excellent.
