Granular Nebula

Made with Bryce

The Hog is by Phillip Drawbridge from DAZ. I used David's Nebula, Nebula 2 and Nebula Advanced material available as a free resource here and put each one on large spheres (20k, 15k and 10k BU). The Bryce stars shine through all three spheres. Lit by the Furka HDRI, available on my website. This was a test using the nebulae. Rendered with 128 lights in an hour.

Amazing. Perfect use of each element. Surprising how well the Bryce starfield is holding up.The glowing planet does not set completely with me, I think it looks like it is receivieng alot of light from a nearby source that is entirely unseen, and from more than one side. I can imagine that if the nebula comes into contact with the atmosphere of a planet it would vaporize the atmosphere and bake the surface. Who knows? The plasma exhaust looks like it could function nicely as a forcefield of some sort, it seems to have a spidery liquid-like manner to it.

Sweet space scene! I like how you used more than one of his textures for the nebula. The ships are really well lit and the textures look great. The only thing is that the planet seems to be a little bit bright.
