Homecoming of the dragon

Made with Bryce

A dragon returns to her nest. The cave is made of 2x3 terrains, placed in a triangle configuration. The overall lighting in the cave is done by weak radials with an inverted gradient, and the eggs are lighted with 8 green radials with an inverted gradient. Further 2 volumetric clouds at the horizon. The efect at the wing if the dragon that looked as motion blur is a mere coincidence, as the sun, the wing and the volumetric cloud come together.

This one is a 5ver. it grows on me more and more as I observe it. Excellent work using the lighting to emphasize the important ideas!

Very good lighting work in the cave's interior. The gold coins sure took their fair share of time, placing, re-arranging. But I don't think that such carefully placed pile of coins will last too long like that with a large dragon inside the small cave. That's not a quibble though, just some "cause-and-effect" feeling. Good work.

Nice to see you here, boekenwuurm, welcome! Very nice render. I like the coin towers, well made. There's a lot of detail here, the skeleton look good, too. Sky and dragon look incredibly good. The only weak thing is the landscape outside. But this is a minor thing. Your lighting in the cave is very effective.
