Aprilovska HighSchool
The image represents an inspiration I recently had, a little shift in directions and vision. I wanted to try a couple of photo manipulation techniques I had in mind for some time. This image is entirely photoshop-retouched and postworked, I was striving for a classic towards sepia-monochrome old-school hand-drawn painting look (quite a sentence :)). It started as a photo I took last night. Without getting into too much details - the building is the first school built on Bulgarian territory (the town is Gabrovo) in the year 1835 during the Ottoman slavery. Today the school is well preserved, some rooms are used as a museum, while in other the students still take class in various disciplines and languages. p.s.: the two streaks on the left were actually lights distorted as kind of lens-flare effect and I didn't really want to mask those out, I think it looks more "authentic" this way; time for image completion ~ 3 hours.

- Thanks very much, Rashad!
- Original, and very amazing. Iaould hardly assume this was computer generated!
- Thank you! I'm happy you liked it. Since this is a 2d work, I can't always be sure how the others will judge it. As we know, the tendency here is 3d. Anyway, 10x again.
- Beautiful!!
- You brought in the effect superbly.
