I was experimenting again and had started out with a misty Island idea, and was not happy with the result so I killed the haze. and ended up with this.

In your scene I like how artistically (intended or not) the scale of the flowers, the trees and butterflies is presented. You "killed" the haze, why don't you try with a bit of fog then, just enough to slightly cover the water.
yes I agree it does have a creepy feel. The tress for this I got from Daz on sale.
It does feel very somber. Which to me is a good thing. The crow/raven in the tree is a nice touch! Good work!
I like the trees yoou used, they are very nice. It does look a bit sombre.
Nice vegetation. The dark sky almost makes the scene feel sinister.
