head is in the clouds
Well, I was working on this image, and I was on the forums at Daz3d. Let say, it results in this. One of these days I make renders with half naked men, I promise you! That is more in my line then half naked woman. Clouds are volumetric spheres, trees and woman lit by radials. Clothing on woman is the dynamic tablecloth.

What I like about you Boekenwuurm, is that you know exactly what you are doing each step of the way. You are completly in control and it shows. I await the new version and say wow!
Thank Horo and Richter. I liked the result of this render. Not as realistic as I wished, but just nice. This render is a result of tree things: 1) Two tutorials of Orbital at renderosity of how to make realistic clouds, and how to create tropical water. This made the sea and the sky in the scene. 2) Playing with dynamic cloth provided the girl, together with surfing on the daz3d.com forums, and a 'interesting' discussion on the DAS forums. 3) the girl in the scene looked nice, but needed horo's inverted radial trick. But the girl alone seemed out of place. I placed palm trees, and scaled them up till they seemed big enough. Guess I needed to study more tropical photographs, because if this is to small... The water is supposed to be relative calm. But this was actually a fast scene. Because it came out so good, I tweaked it a bit and re-rendered it for posting here.
Very inspiring sunset! The clouds, the sun color temperature and that of the sky - all work prefectly together. The horizon line has really interesting nuance, I wonder if this was intended. There are some small issues however. Either the girl is enormously tall or the palm trees are way too small. Having a look at the wave size I'd say the girl has to be rescaled, along with the grass. Of course you didn't mention what's the story behind all of this so these "issues" perhaps may not be taken into account. Your's the final word, Boekenwuurm.
Great composition. This render has something of a cartoon to it. Not a toon picture, neither a photograph. It has something from both. I think if I would attempt such an impression, I would fail. Very well done.
